We started introducing our Beekeeping Experience Days in 2022 and they've been a real success.  We are offering you the chance to enjoy one of our fun and informative days out in Ringwood where you will be able to experience beekeeping for yourself. Run by the Warmer Family, you will learn about what goes on inside a hive, the life cycle of a bee, and what you can do to have a positive effect on bees and other pollinators.

The itinerary for day:

1. Start your day off by learning about the role of a bee, their life cycle, swarming behaviour, and how you can make a positive impact!

2. Have a go at building beehive frames!

3. Take part in making your own beeswax candle to take home with you

4. Have a break with a homemade lunch, using local produce where possible 

5. Take a step inside a beehive!

6. Spin your own jar of honey. Harvest, spin and take home a personalised jar of your honey.

7. Sample some of our honey from different hives

Numbers are limited to 5 people per session so you get more hands-on time; rather than watching, you will be doing!

Cost of the day (which lasts 4-5 hours):

£95 per person and a £45 deposit is required to secure your place.

We'll only be running a few days in the year starting in May/June 2025 and places are already filling up fast!
